blue- project 64

I finally get to take and post a photo of my
blue glass collection in my dining room bay window.
so glad the sun was shining, straight out of the camera,
I love the patterns and shadows.

yellow green - p64

The color this week is easier to find in the spring but my green yellow
lemon thyme is a stand out in the late summer garden

Zucchini Marshal Arts

We've steamed it,
baked it,
fried it,
sauteed it,
BBQ'd it,
chopped it,
sliced it,
diced it,
grated it,
smashed it and fed it to the chickens,
we've added it to everything except coffee.
There are new ones every day and they get ginormous while you watch.
So what else can you do with these "squash"?

forest green - project 64

hope this entry isn't too late. I spent the last week looking for something forest green that wasn't........a green forest, plenty to choose from around here, but I wanted to color outside of the lines this week (hee hee). This isn't a perfect color match but  I couldn't resist shooting my youngest grandson hiding in the ferns to shoot me with the nerf gun. He thinks he's pretty cute and I agree.

raw sienna - project 64

My hubby bilt grape arbor is a pretty good match for raw sienna,
plus I love the wood color with the grape leaves.

I had to add a photo of  Miss Henny Penny and her chicks, mama is a close color match,
and the chicks are adorable.
