I haven't been too inspired to get out in the rainy gloom to capture barns lately but hopefully that will change, is it too much to hope that the weather change too?
Probably not - it is winter in the PNW after all.
Linking with Tricia's wonderful Barn Charm

A really nice composition!
ReplyDeleteIt's a large beauty and I like the cow weathervane on top silhouetted against that moody sky.
This could almost be a house with that little section jutting off to the left front. Even the windows in that section look house-like. This was a wonderful find and your picture is great. Nice texture work. genie
ReplyDeleteLiving on the east side of the Cascades now, I am not missing the rain at all! So I completely understand where you are coming from. This sure is a beauty of a barn.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really beautiful image - the muted colors against the sky. Sorry about the weather - I find for me that sometimes it's best to just get out regardless of weather. If I didn't, I'd probably get cabin fever. Great barn!
ReplyDeletenice shot. it really does look gloomy. needs some sunshine. Merry 2013. ( :
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barn! I like it in the sepia tone.
ReplyDeleteI really like the color tones in this photo. It's a great barn with the cow weather vane on the cupola.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty shot! I really like the weather vane.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot! I always like a barn with a cupola and weather vane!

ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty & I love the warmth of the color.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining! =)
Yes, the rain does not generally inspire photo taking! : ) Great barn
ReplyDeletewhat a nice barn. I found myself out hunting barns in crummy weather too. It's hard to like a photo when they sky is so gloomy behind it! I would miss the seasons if I didn't have them though!
