A cow pasture becomes a duck and goose pond when there has been
too much rain.
Love to share the rural area I'm blessed to live in.

barn revisit

I really like this barn, the shape the other buildings and especially the setting. You may recognize this barn from last month
I shot that one on a typical pacific northwest cloudy day. I mentioned that there is a great view of the mountains so I went back on a rare sunny day and captured the mountains behind it. The snow capped Mt. Baker looks like its floating on clouds but I assure you it's well grounded.

february sun

February sunshine almost makes this white barn glow.
Just down the road a farm with a great view of the mountains across
the border in Canada

Two link ups this week, Thanks Tricia and Madge for hosting these:

lonely barn

dipping into my archives again, this lonely barn was a drive by in Montana, last summer. I think I have already posted this but the processing is new. I like the vintage painted look. Check out my etsy shop for this and other photos.

sky show

I happened to look out the window and caught this dramatic early evening sky, the hens were enjoying the show too!

great finish

After several rainy gray days, yesterday was sunny and positively spring-like.
Don't you think sunshine cures the winter blah's and gives hope of good things to come.
Someone wrote on facebook yesterday -"I must be solar powered, I'm charged with energy when the sun is out."
